Update:
I originally reviewed this business as having "good beer, bad food" but I've been back a couple times recently and I can honestly saw the food is WAY better. They've also done a lot with their property and added patio seating and I think I saw a second bar outside. 5 stars.

Nice atmosphere and pretty good prices. Most beers brewed by Golden Road are around $5, while the other microbrews are $7. However, the food is just not very good. This place just opened recently, so hopefully they'll improve the food.

Golden Road has a neat taproom in an old warehouse with a great neighborhood pub feel. They have 14 taps, plus 4 guest taps, with some interesting things on offer. I was impressed that, when I ordered the Berliner Weiss, I was offered a choice of syrups to add -- I went with the traditional woodruff. You don't see that many places.

This is an updated review from 2019 because Golden Road Brewery has declined in quality with both beer and customer service. Golden Road Brewery is now part of a gastropub/restaurant chain. Anheuser-Busch owns Golden Road but you can get the same quality buying Budweiser at a grocery store. There is no reason to pay top dollar for the overpriced beer at Golden Road. My review is based on the Anaheim facility. This place is the standard warehouse taproom. That being said it's a cool place. Nice employees and a great selection. They have some lesser known beers than the ones you see at stores. A must stop for that reason alone.
I saw on theskedge.com that the Pub was doing something cool for St. Paddy's Day so I checked it out! The deals were amazing ($5 pints) and they had live music plus some festive things like St. Patrick's colored glitter stations. It was an awesome time, great environment!
