I am always gladness to find an Iranian place with crispy rice. Although not on the menu you can ask for tahdig with the ghormeh sabzi that is on the menu.

A pleasant surprise

This place is a jewel! Not busy the two evenings we were there. Service was excellent and the place was spotless. The menu is limited but excellent. All the beef was high quality and the lueta is fabulous. I recommend the beef, steamed vegetables and...rice. The side salad not so much. The house dressing is good though. Just use it on you meat! The Greek salad and Cesar salad is good.

I needed a restaurant that was an easy walk from the Hampton Inn I was staying at. I selected Cafe Elegante after finding it on Trip Advisor. The restaurant has a simple but pleasant decor. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was...delicious and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to return.

It is the most wonderful place for Lunch or Dinner!
I wish I could give 10 stars!
It is always nice to see the same owner, the same waitress over many years.
We ordered Ashtereshteh soup (Garbanzo and pinto beans, lentils, spinach, parsley, noodles and...sour yogurt).
Last time we ordered lentil soup. Both are delicious!

This is a very pleasant place to have a nice mediterranean meal with friends and family. The food is tasty and the service is top notch.
Love their kebabs and rice mixed with sour cherry or with Barberries.

Note: closed on Sundays.

Excellent kabobs, rice, pitas, and dips (baba ganoush). The staff heard us rave about the ganoush and gave us some "eggplant" dip to sample. That has a bit more heat but very good.

Lots to eat; we took home leftovers

We're glad that a couple...who lives in neighboring city took us here!

We had steak and chicken kabobs with barberry rice and dill and lima bean rice. The steak kabobs we some of the best i have ever eaten. The barberry rice was wonderful. Service was pleasant and attentive. Will definitely dine here again.

A wonderful spot for a party. I attended a birthday party here for 16 people about a week ago and it was great--great food and great service at a very reasonable price!

Had the chicken kebab plate it was phenomenal! Service was very good and friendly, server offered me a free sample of their egg plant dip they called "Ikra" it was really good. Also had the side order of hummus it was very fresh and very good as well. I will definitely be returning here!

I have the chicken kabobs over rice. The serving was more than enough but, more importantly, it was quite tasty. The hummus was to die for and the service was extraordinary.

This area has a plethora of middle eastern/Armenian restaurants. But most of them use way too much salt for our taste. Not Cafe Elegante. Located in a modest small mall a few miles from the center of Burbank, this restaurant is a real find but...easy to miss if you drive by too quickly.

We were very surprised at just how great this place was! The portions are most generous, the food is very fresh and delicious! We had excellent service to top it all off! A most pleasant experience from a very unassuming restaurant. We will definitely be...back when in the area!

Fantastic kabobs! Delicious! We are regulars here because we love it so and my children love it too! Lentil soup is wonderful, hummus is fresh, vegetarian sampler is my dinner sometimes or chicken breast kabob, and my husband loves the soltani combo! Fresh delicious and...friendly!

Gem is an overused word in describing restaurants. But that simply describes Cafe Elegante.
The white tablecloths provide a fancy touch. And the food warrants repeated visits. A vegetarian appetizer sampler is generous and delicious. The kabobs are outstanding. A favorite is the beef luleh...kabob. The service can't be friendlier and the owner makes everyone feel special. Middle Eastern...

Went there for the first time for dinner this week and boy was it BLAND. I had the chicken and my husband had the beef kabob. The steamed veggies were cleary just microwaved. There was only 2 other people in the place at 7pm which should have been a hint to stay away. We had baklava for dessert and it was gross. I love baklava and have had it in many many places and I couldn't even finish the tiny square dessert here. We will never go back.

Excellent Service. The food was good but not exceptional. We liked the cold appetizer plate, each item was good. Hummus was not too sour; eggplant dip, yogurt dip and tabouli tasted pretty good, I skipped dolma.

An awesome warm place to meet up with a group of friends or family and be assured of great service and great food.i had the best falafel in the whole valley .the owner put together the most delicious vegetarian fare i have ever tasted in los angeles...for my meat loving friends the chicken and lamb kebab was like heaven...a must try restaurant for middle eastern food lovers..guaranteed good service and good food.the ambience is not spectacular but very warm for a nice quiet dinner after a hard day's work...

The Best Middle Eastern Food in Burbank.. This is a restaurant where the food is exceptional each and every time. The Igra or eggplant dip is the best I've ever had and is it's most popular appetizer. They take no shortcuts in preparing it and the proof is in the taste. The Tahdig (crispy rice) with Gormeh Sabzi stew is a must . Both the owner and the employees make everyone feel right at home....

I love love LOVE mediterranean food. I have tried almost every mediterannean restaurant in the San Fernando Valley and Cafe' Elegante is the BEST, hands down. Excellent service, spectacular food that is consistently delicious! There is something for everyone, even my vegetarian son who orders the ""Vegitarian Platter""..lets just say he has leftover for 3 days after! My personal favorite is the Filet Mignon kabob but everything is just so very good!
