Stein optometric in burbank was a wonderful experience. They were all very nice and helpful. They took time with us, including the kids. I recommend to everyone looking for a place for an eye examination or glasses....awesome!!
Consumer Beware! Questionable price Switching Practices!
Burbank office (In the Burbank shopping Center ) practice are ethically questionable. They have your Px in front to run a proper quote. So there should be no reason to over look any charges. I was called recently by adverse rep from Stein Rep basically saying pay $290.00 plus amount for a high astigmatism lab charge or nothing , no apology for the mistake she made, and made seem like it was my fault for having poor vision!
Try to resolve issue with office Manager and cost of the so called high Astigmatism lab charge went up an extra $ 100.00. Even though she did confirmed her Reps mistake they did not waive their charges but made it seem that bring cost down to $201.00 was favor to me , keep in mind that I already paid them for service for the amount $330.00!
Reviewed Case with my Insurance provider and the Extra charges might questionable.
Honestly, i was looking for a doctor that could prescribe me new contact lenses and for a new pair of glasses. I came out highly satisfied with the service provided and learned a lot more on the status of my eyes with this doctor than any other place i had been to. The experience depends on which doctor you see,However it doesn't have dedicated parking, you basically need to park at the mall and find the place at the map in the mall, for me it was quite confusing, and even tough it says you don't need appointment to get exam, YOU ACTUALLY DO, otherwise you will waste a lot of time just sitting there and waiting. Other thank that, it looks nice.
It's inside of the mall, kind of a weird location for an eye doctor. The clinic is nice, but the whole thing is a bit salesy. I'm not sure how but every time I go to buy glasses I end up...
It is expensive, only by appointment, also its missing information about where exactly it is in the mall, other than that the service may good, it's just not what I was looking for.
Been using Dr. Stein for a few years and really like him. Convenient hours, very helpful staff, great selection on frames.
