With so many other, better, mexican places to eat I always feel bad eating here. But they have big tables and I get coupons so I'm here more than I like to admit. Easy parking.
Acapulco is an Americanized take on Mexican food. I don't really like authentic Mexican food, so I can't compare Acapulco to the many authentic Mexican restaurants in LA. But compared to other similar Mexican restuarant chains El Torito and Acapulco win hands down. I have eaten at a lot of four star restaurants in my life, but sometimes when I think of a great meal I think of Acupulco. I have been eating here for years and I still dine here occasionally but their consistancy can vary from visit to visit. Even though I've had both good and bad experiences, I always try to remember the good ones when I go back. It seems like over the years, it's been like a rollercoaster ride with their consistancy and I feel that back when Acapulco restaurants were Los Arcos, they were actually better. All I can say is, give it a try for yourself and make up your own mind. Watch for Acapulco coupons in the mail to buy one dinner and get a second for $3.99, that is a good deal.
