Wokcano is an Asian restaurant with an intricate selection of sushi and delicious array of Chinese. Our wide range of selections enables us to satisfy most cravings. Complete with wood accented, uber chic interior & mood lighting, our restaurant creates an ambient environment for all.
Wokano has good Japanese and Chinese food in a nice roomy restaurant. There is a lot of stone--even a waterfall--in its large space. You don't feel crowded at all. I've always had a lot of good experiences with the food and service. Generally, I go for the sushi and sashimi. Parking is a little problematic since Wokano is in downtown Burbank, but there is an hour free on the streets and a few nearby lots.
Kinda like PF Changs; generic California Asian stuff. The seaweed salad is perfect, and well-portioned, too. If you can't get enough of the baked scallops on the typical baked scallop sushi roll, then try the Dynamite appetizer. The hot & sour soup is also pretty good. Other than that, I've often had the Garlic Shrimp entree, which isn't bad, but was nothing to write home about. Brown or white rice available on request. There's also a back room for parties or such that seats about 20, I think.

Wokcano Burbank was awesome to accommodate impromptu 10 nightingales on a Sat night. checked in at 8pm. only down side was service was so SLOW. the resto wasn’t full but service was so staggered-we had to call our waitress several times to get our orders, then status for our food, then our dessert and last for our check. we got out of there a lil past 1130pm?

This restaurant is located not far from the hotel we stayed at in Burbank. The food was great, as was the service, and it was well priced, too. I had a great sashimi plate. If you are staying in that part of town, I would highly recommend it.
Ambiance and customer service was excellent; however the food felt a little subpar to the Wockano in Valencia. It was not bad by any means! It was good but I truly felt like it could have tasted a little better.
They were. Close to the hotel we were staying. Looked over their menu thru website and decided that way. Only bad thing was they were 4 little girls running around the area we were seated and they were quite loud. Where the parents of these kids and I did not notice any managers making mention to the parents table. Then again maybe they allow this at this time our reservations were at 6:30....

The service and the food were great; the only downside, which is nothing against the restaurant or the staff, is that we had 2 parties in the same room with kids who were behaving terribly. 1 party had kids running around and bumping into our table and chairs and the other had a baby who was screaming almost the entire time that they were there.

Wokano is an Asian fusion restaurant. It's very big spacious and beautiful, great for dinner with large groups but still intimate enough for a date. They have everything from chinese favorites to sushi and happy hour that i haven't tried yet but the deals look great and people say is really good. For Asian food this place is very chain like. But then again it's a chain. They have a happy hour I've gone to a few times. You can't beat $3 goyza rolls and pork ribs!

Bad Food. We meant to go to The Backhouse for lunch, we went to Wokcano instead because The Backhouse stops serving lunch. These two joints are just one place with two entrances and names.

The food arrived 20 mins before the scheduled time which was awesome. Everything was very fresh and arrived hot. The fried rice had a gingery flavor, it was delicious. The sushi was also very good compared to most places locally, I recommend.

Be aware! Under the Grubhub discriptions of the dishes it states that rice soup and salad is included. So, I did not order at the end because the menu says it's included.

The best sushi I've had in the LA area. Delicious beyond belief. Their takeout is yummy, though I will say, it is the nature of rice noodles to not travel well, so pad thai is never as good in takeout as it is in the restaurant. The other noodle dishes are fantastic though. You'll love them from the first bite and be addicted before you realize what happened.
Chow Mein is the best dish they have on the menu. A little pricey but worth it. I love coming here every time I have the opportunity.

This place was great. We walked in for lunch on a Friday and was served very quickly. I ordered a spicy tuna roll an the double Kung Pao chicken with shrimp. One of my favorite at Wokcano is their chocolate dipped fortune cookie that you get at the end of your meal.

However, be aware that the spicy sushi platter seems to be exactly the same as the regular sushi platter only with little dots of hot sauce on top. This place has good food, but it's a bit overpriced. I think your paying for the atmosphere, which is great. The other good thing is that the are open late. I think until 4am on weekends and 2am on weekdays.

Great ambience!! – I went to Wokcano in Burbank with my friend from the area who had raved about the atmosphere. I see what she meant...it's beautiful inside and I loved the sleek decor, very modern. Food is pretty good. Far better than a place like PF Changs...interesting drink specials that work great with the Asian theme. I had a ginger vodka martini that was a good complement to my food.

I only gave this place 1 star, for decor. I suppose it could have potential if they restaffed (especially the mgmt). I'm quite the big sushi fan, and this place had me dazzled with the remarkable tastes and artistic work. The fish was fresh, and the number of unique rolls were enough to warrant me coming back many times. Wokcano was fabulous!! The interior was beautiful: creating an inviting atmosphere. Service was great and the sushi was fresh. And even if you don't like sushi, it's a fusion restaurant that also offers great Chinese food. Not to mention, it has a huge lounge area with a full bar!! :D I had a great time and would definitely go back again. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

This was one of the few places open on July 4th. I wasn't expecting anything too great seeing how it was an asian restaurant in the middle of Burbank. I was VERY surprised! I tried the crispy orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and fried rice. All were very delicious and just as good as the food at an authentic chinese restaurant. Our hostess was very courteous. Our waitress was just okay but the bus boy guys were very attentive - constantly refilling water and packing up our to go boxes and cleaning our table swiftly. The only downer is that there are no lunch specials so it's kinda pricey...
