I really like this place! It's not the best Hawaiian BBQ I've had but there's good flavor in the chicken and good sized portions for a decent price. The staff are usually young kids but are super nice and get your order out quickly.
Parking could be a bit of a hassle just to drive here and eat but if you're planning on catching a movie or do some shopping in the area it's worth it!
Ohana is a great place to get a fast hot lunch. As the name suggests, it's a Hawaiian BBQ, so the basic fare is broiled meats on vegetables and rice with a Polynesian/Japanese feel. Prices are cheap and service is fast. There is lots of street parking and in parking structures nearby.
Wanted to like this place so bad but majority of the food I was served was tasteless and sad... For fast food Hawaiian options Ono Hawaiian wins with runner up L&L BBQ. Moana is on my list of...
This place is great. Friendly staff, good street Hawaiian food. I like that they play Christian music that you can hear on the sidewalk. Businesses of any faith/kind should be able to express them...

My family and I have eaten Kailua Pork at several eateries in Los Angeles and Oahu and were always impressed, but unfortunately we cannot say the same for this place! Although the flavoring was on par, the quality of the meat was bottom of the...barrel!! We also tried the Hawaiian Chicken with Pineapple. Weak flavor most probably due to the lack of pinepple; the typical small triangluar...
This place is literally disgusting. My first and last time eating here. The rice isn't even rice, it's a mushy glob with no flavor. The macaroni salad TASTES LIKE GLUE and has the weirdest texture...
This is the best Hawaiian bbq in Burbank! We love this restaurant! The service is always fast and friendly!
Delicious!! First time eating hawaiian bbq and I love it. Large portions. The ribs are amazinggg!
Good spam musubi (I order without the teriyaki sauce- just spam, rice and nori). Not a fan of the Christian rock or the huge religious mural on the wall. The workers are pretty nice.
Mac salad is not good. It almost tastes like glue. The katsu was decent but a little dry. The bbq beef and ribs were pretty okay but there was very little of it. Paid $16 for a bbq mix and was...
One of the first restaurants in Burbank I ate at in LA. Easily my favorite Hawaiian barbecue spot in LA. The Spam musubi, bbq short rib, Kalua pork, Mac salad...this place is established and...
Extremely hit/miss. Sometimes this place is amazing with large portions, flavorful meats. And other times they give some questionable looking meat and smaller portions.
The wait times can be...

Last minute idea based on the photos of tacos. Ordered Hawaiian BBQ short ribs, the were excellent! Hard to cut with plasticware but really good and a huge portion. Comes with rice, cabbage and macaroni salad. Ordered fish taco and a bbq chicken taco, both...really good.

This place has very tasty food. They have a good variety of meats I really enjoyed it. I took some home for my husband who also loved it. The music that they play was great also.
Ordered through Uber Eats and ordered no cabbage in special instructions. Got order and it was almost all cabbage mixed in. Contacted store and asked to have it corrected and bring the wrong one back. Was told no and to contact Uber Eats. Uber Eats asked me to contact restaurant. The owner/manager was concerned and told me I should have “picked around the cabbage”. See picture and tell me how...
Great location we eat elsewhere then go to this place to take home to kids they love it meat is good and soft and service is very friendly we get combo plates. With white rice. Very expensive but it's fresh and tasty.
Great service and great food... it is not as good as the food you can get in Hawaii but it is really close.... lastly, they are not afraid to show their faith....
Ordered it for the first time. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. Great comfort food.
I wanted to eat somewhere local and avoid all the chain restaurants in Burbank and Moana is the spot! The spam and pulled pork masubi was awesome! I'll definitely be back!
It's always a pleasure coming to Moana Hawaiian BB!. Food is always fresh and delicious, nice portions. I'm not religious but I love the Christian music they play and there's always something good on their TVs. Patrick (?owner) is always present and will often greet me...I guess I could be considered a regular. Other friends have seen my posts on Facebook and have come here to eat and have...
Been coming here for years, ever since my Hawaiian college roommate introduced me to Hawaiian barbecue. Get anything on the menu. It's all delicious! Make sure to get a side of sriracha.
My grandparents used to love having Hawaiian barbecue after having lived there in the 60's. I have never been to Hawaii so I cannot vouch for the authenticity, but just as much as I enjoyed those backyard feasts I loved this place. The food was...prepared quickly and the staff was very patient with me while I tried to figure out what I wanted. Turns out I couldn't so I got the "mix". The...
I loved the L&L BBQ's in Hawaii, so thought I would try this one in Burbank. Very disappointing. Food was overpriced and very ordinary.
I've always loved grubbing at Moana's (previously named Ohana's) but haven't been there in a while until last night. They've really improved a lot, especially expanding on their menu selections. Almost too expanded.. We spent 5 hours trying to figure out what to order because there were just …
Everything was pretty darn tasty but the sauce that comes with your food is to die for. It's kinda sweet but spicy at the same time. I go there at least once a week
Just ordered BBQ chicken plate to go, the kid forgot to put it in a togo box. No problem there, but he proceeds to use his bare hands to move my chicken from the plate to the togo box. Incredibly disgusting. No wonder this place has three stars, won't be going back here again.
Fresh teriyaki plates with rice and yummy sauces. I ordered 3 mixed plates to go. My boys loved them. They said the beef sticks were soft and they loved the marinate. I must warn you food isn't cheap and canned drinks are 4 bucks.
For a fast food Hawaiian place, this place is pretty good. The first time I went, we were looking for a hawaiian place to eat and this was the closest one that was open. We went, and surprisingly the food didnt taste soooo cheapy (is that a word? haha) and just what I think of when I think of fast food …
For several years after my last review on 2010, I've avoided going to this establishment due to their mis-leading prices, the quality of food being unsatisfactory and a very poor customer service.I've been back since then and noticed a few things that have changed and maybe even improved on. …
Good Hawaiian food, I like there new menu. I always get the chicken combo it comes with white rice and macaroni salad which complement the bar bq very nicely
Smelt great from the street. Had my mind set on chicken but when I asked for breast and the cashier told me it was only dark meat...I was completely disappointed.
da bessssssssssssssssssssssss! Love it but you must call ahead I posted he menu in the photos and they have a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards
The quality of food is shrinking while their prices seem to be increasing. Very disappointed with serving size, and $12 lunch. Food was cold and mushy. This place needs to find its soul again. Or they might not find repeat customers. I might not have given this place 1 star. But every review must match …
Get the Value Meal! Good!. Value Meal includes 2 pieces of meat (bbq chicken and bbq beef), one scoop each of macaroni salad with shrimp and steam rice, and one fountain soda.
Good BBQ. Lots of food for under $10!
