I visited the first weekend or so that Orochon opened and the service and food was AWFUL. I just visited almost two years later and I can say that they have redeemed themselves. Food is now good, and service is better.
This was my first time at a ramen house so I don't have much to compare this place to otherwise I'd probably rate it 4 stars. I liked the food a lot and the place is huge!
They have a fantastic happy hour with $.99 drafts! I hope that's not a grand opening special because I plan to be there often for that deal.
Street parking will be hard to find nearby so I'd recommend parking in one of the lots for the AMC and walking a block or so to the location.
My son told me about this restaurant in Burbank near his high school, he said they make the Best Ramen bowls in town. He was right.
Delicious flavors and priced right. The small size is definitely large enough for a meal. The restaurant is called...
Got shashu ramen to go, added mushrooms and bean sprouts.....around $11,,,,very few of either mushroom or sprouts, three....yes, three skinny cuts of pork, very dry noodles, half a cup of lukewarm broth.....totally unsatisfactory, will never go back/
4 star
I've only tried non ramen food so I don't want to skew the review but here goes:We ordered dumplings and two ramen bowls and the chicken teriyaki. (The teriyaki was mine)The teriyaki was really...
California roll and tempura
First time trying this place. California roll was perfect, and the Ramen reminds me of my short time in Japan for the Olympics.
I ordered 4 ramen noodles for takeout and 3 of the soup lids exploded in my car (see photos). They put the noodle containers on top of the piping hot soup (lid) and unsurprisingly, 3/4 lids...
Wow, what a difference a location makes.Orochon, of Man vs. Food fame, decided to open up another location in Burbank, a humble distance from their Little Tokyo joint. And while they are family...
I love your takoyaki delicious !!
ZERO STARS!!!! FOOD GOOD BUT SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! get a clue when staffing on a Sat night!! Or any night for that matter. We literally waited 20 mins before ordering and only after we asked for...
Japanese ramen is quickly becoming one of my favorite foods... I dare say it's even better the Vietnamese pho!
this place is ok if you want a cheap bowl of noodles, I'm not sure I would even consider their noodles ramen.
the service was excellent when we visited. the waitress checked up on us every 5 to 10 minutes.
Been here several times for happy hour. They have a few good stuff on their happy house menu, and beer of course.Plus Orochon is a kids friendly restaurant ,and the place never gets crowded.Their...
: Practicing for the spicy 30 min challenge!!
Some nice warm soup after a long (and a lil nippy) day at the park.....??
I finally got my ass out of bed and came for some beer and some ramen with the Bambino
Huge Portion But Salty. I had a bowl of ramen with salt soup base, boy, it was salty. They gave big portion with plenty of noodles and toppings. Tables and chairs were not comfortable. Servers were friendly.
Great place to eat! Very accessible & short waiting time!.. Huge servings!
The ramen isn't bad here. The soft boiled egg is great! The noodles are kind of lack-luster but being able to choose the level of spiciness of the broth is a plus.
Until now, I had only visited the Orochon Ramen location in Little Tokyo. I like it there, but it is small and most of the seating is outside. I also feel rushed when I am there because there is always a line of people waiting...
Pretty decent ramen...spice scale can really kick up the heat! Very friendly staff and slick
decor make it more appealing.
Okay, newsflash, you’re getting the Ramen. There are other things on the menu, but they’re just sides. You’re here for the Ramen, and like I said before, you need to make some decisions.

Top Ramen tastes better and it's cheaper. Went here for my coworker to try their spicy ramen, but it was really bad. I had the salt broth and thought that it was pretty bland in flavor. It had slices of pork in it that were so thin I thought it was the fake stuff. There was green bell peppers in my ramen. WTH? Since when was green bell pepper an ingredient in ramen? It gave the broth a...
What a huge disappointment! It's one of the worst ramen I've ever tried in LA. I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because I did like that they have a spicy ramen challenge. My co-worker who loves spicy food tried the challenge (you have to eat a huge bowl of super spicy ramen within 30 minutes and if you finish it, you can win a t-shirt and your photo will be posted on the wall). ...
Orochon Ramen just opened up their second location in Burbank. This place is huge. I came here on Grand Opening day, everything was 50% off. I ordered soy sauce ramen and half fried rice. The total was under $6. The service was really slow. We also asked for separate checks when we placed our orders, our server brought us one check. I also wish they have half size ramen. I've heard and read so...
Much larger than the original Little Tokyo restaurant and can accommodate a large group of people. Same menu. Lots of public (paid) parking around.
There was no wait when we got there at right before noon and they were able to setup a table for 12 for us pretty quickly.
We ordered a bunch of appetizers along with a bowl of noodle each and a few pitchers of beer.
