Just Okay

I'm not exactly sure what all the hype is about with this place. Maybe I didn't try the right food or maybe there's more going on during weekends but this bar was simply mediocre to me. They have a large selection of beer on tap and at fairly decent prices but I think that's the highlight of this beer and wine only bar. By the way, most beers are priced at about $6.50 but a glass of wine is $9 so I would't bring my wine drinking girlfriend here.

They do have good selection of vegan food but I only tried the suicide fries which were just fries with jalapeños, cheese sitting in a strange looking, very thing "gravy" I think. Getting past the appearance, they did in fact taste pretty good but even with omitting most of the jalapeños, I still had a stomach ache the next day.

There's a lack of entertainment, meaning almost none. I only saw one pool table and one dartboard! How do you name a place "Darts away" and only have one dart board?

I don't want to bash the place, in my opinion it's an okay local bar for beer only but I don't see myself coming back often.

Vegan Food & Normal Food lol

Came here over the weekend and it was packed! (Sign of a good place) We were lucky enough to find a table and order food. We had one of their hot dogs and sweet potato fries ::drool:: awesome! Their beer is pretty awesome too, especially since it's brewed down the street from the bar. :)

Awesome food and beer

Went here this weekend with a few friends. We had to wait a while for the larger table to open up, but it was worth the wait. I tried the Old #38 Stout and Pliny the Elder for the first time. Both were very good, but I liked the stout best. If you go here, you HAVE to get the sweet potato fries. They are delicious and I ate about one whole basket by myself.

The only downside to this bar is how crowded it gets on the weekends. So if you're coming here with friends, it might be best to show up a tad bit early if you want to sit down.

Tony's Darts Away Restaurant Review

In 2010, beer enthusiast Tony Yanow revamped Tony's Darts Away and upgraded the beer selection and menu. Expect 30-plus California craft beers, all on tap, in addition to California wines. Bottles are forbidden, and organic production is encouraged to help limit the bar’s environmental impact. Food centers on sausages, many vegan, along with salads and beer-friendly bar snacks like "disco"...

I've been coming here since they rebranded as a hip beer bar, and it has consistently been one of the best experiences in Burbank. The food here is great, and there are tons of vegan options for your picky friends. My favorite is the "Becky's...Bad Ass Buffalo Potatoes" - potato wedges tossed in a spicy Buffalo sauce, served with celery and the option of bacon or blue cheese toppings.

There is no better beer list or beer bar in LA County.

I adore! IPA's galore.

Tony's is awesome in so many ways with just one of them beign their selection of California craft beers. The food, ambiance and owners are others but this category simply asks for beers on tap...so there you go!

Get the flight first...

The owner is the best!!

no question about it. tda all the way

Best way to start out is with a flight of beer $8, and then grab a pint or three of your favorite!

all around wonderful place, best beer, great food (lots of veggie options), friendly staff...wish it were bigger cause sometimes it gets packed.

Tony's is honestly one of the best places for beer. So many choices! And their vegan/non-vegan menus are brilliant.

Best bar everrrrrrr!

There carry soooo many great beers.... it is a must to visit this place!!!!!!

Guess I'll have to go tonight to make sure I voted correctly...

Tony's Darts Away = Good Grub!. Stop me if you've heard this one … So, this hipster-hippie walks into a bar… and completely loses his eco-loving, beer-drinking, sausage-craving mind. It's a pretty surreal experience your first time (as I must admit, it was for me) … tap-upon-tap of carefully selected California craft-brews line the bar, a mass of fellow lively GRUB-patrons are deep into...

Tony's has the best beer list every day.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Is it a bar or a restaurant? Don't let the casual watering hole atmosphere, shelves of beer books, pool table, vintage dart board and huge wraparound bar fool you--this place is a dining establishment first and foremost, says owner Tony Yanow. Sure, this location has been a local dive bar (also called Tony's Darts Away) since the 1960s. And yes, the now more than 30 California craft beers on tap would give any 21-and-over hangout a serious run for its money. After all, where else on this side of town are you going to find more than a dozen IPAs, Oaked Arrogant...

Tips about this business (2)

What to Drink

Aside from the numerous beers on tap, there are also a few esoteric, locally produced wines (from a keg, no less!) available for those who prefer vino to brewskis.

The Extras

Flights of beer are popular for those who want to try before they buy (the whole pint, that is. Although prices are supremely fair with most pints just $4.50).
